![]() ![]() Issue 1: set was working out well, then all of a sudden, the track sped up +8 without me touching the slider, seems as if it switched to internal mode while prepping the other deck, but it was sped up to its max speed via internal mode slider. So, first time back using serato dj pro til it started workin with big sur (been doin vinyl) and i'm hoping some of yall can help me out.Įquipment: 1200s, DJM S-7, phase dj (updated to latest firmware for wireless), 2019 mb pro running big sur 11.1 (updated), 16G ram, 256 hard drive (keep internal tracks for current mixes on laptop, the rest of the tracks are on my external). ![]() These audio issues are not a Serato DJ Pro problem as they happen without DJ Pro installed on the machine. There are known issues with some USB audio interfaces in macOS on Intel. I actually installed Windows 10 with Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro 16, just to use DJ Pro with stable audio. Running in Rosetta (emulation mode) may cause unsmooth (is that a word? ) video refresh.įor me, I’d rather the audio be rock solid and have some jitter in the display refresh than deal with the audio stuttering I’m dealing with on my Denon DS1. Maybe someone from Serato can tell us if DJ Pro is running in Rosetta or it is a native ARM binary. If it’s already set like this or you set these options, restart, and the waveforms aren’t smooth, I’d bet the video chipset kernel extensions (kexts) in macOS for ARM/M1 aren’t as dialed in. I don’t have an M1 Mac to test on.Ĭheck in your Library+Display settings and ensure “High-Res Display” is checked and “Maximum Screen Updates” is set to 60 and restart Serato. In my experience, screen refresh rate is not as smooth in Windows as it is on macOS running on Intel Macs. Get more information on how to use the Multi-channel MIDI layers for the Sixty-Two.I see this behavior when running Serato DJ Pro on Windows 10. ![]() This requires the latest firmware updates. MIDI mapping is now possible for all MIDI control/note values for the 2nd to 16th channel layers of the Sixty-Two.
